Covid-19: DGS recommends universal vaccination of 12 to 15 year olds

At the Directorate-General for Health press conference this morning, discussing new information regarding the vaccination of young people between 12 and 15 years old, Graças Freita announced that universal vaccination of children and young people between 12 and 15 years of age is now recommended, without the need for medical advice, thus it is no longer limited to specific situations such as children with high risk diseases.

span>Although it is not yet guaranteed that these age groups will be vaccinated before the start of the school year, the general director assured that it will be “in the day when school starts.
